Perinatal Center of Iowa and Mercy Medical Center—Des Moines present the sixth annual Controversies and Advances in Perinatal Medicine conference.

This conference is designed to provide health care professionals with an expanded knowledge of existing and evolving clinical practice in the care of women experiencing high-risk pregnancies. The conference will focus on basic safety in perinatal care, enigmas of pre-eclampsia, preventing late pre-term births, induction of labor using foley ripening, obstetrical case presentation, identifying and treatment for postpartum hemorrhage and obstetrical care and practices in third world countries.
